Cybersecurity for small businesses, written down and switched on
Most small-business breaches start with a stolen password or a convincing email. HeptaShield puts the controls that stop them in place, on every device and account, and writes them into a baseline you can show your insurer.
What we put in place
The controls that stop real attacks
MFA and Conditional Access
Every account needs a second factor, and risky sign-ins are blocked before anyone gets in.
Managed EDR
Microsoft Defender for Business on every computer, with alerts reviewed by a person.
Email security
SPF, DKIM and DMARC set up and monitored, plus phishing and impersonation filtering.
Training and backups
Short training and simulated phishing for staff, and backups restored and tested every quarter.
Questions
Straight answers
- Are small businesses really targeted?
- Yes. Most attacks are automated: password guessing, phishing and fake invoices go to every business, and small ones are more likely to have no MFA or tested backups.
- Which plan includes cybersecurity?
- MFA is on every plan. Managed EDR, email security, staff training and Microsoft 365 backup start on Secure ($129 per user per month).
- Can you help with our cyber insurance questionnaire?
- Yes. We answer the technical questions with you and give you evidence of each control, such as MFA reports and backup tests.
- What does it cost?
- Plans start at $79 per user per month with a $395 minimum monthly fee, and every price is published. The 12-month agreement can be cancelled in the first 90 days with 30 days' notice. The calculator on our pricing page shows your monthly price in about 30 seconds.
