IT strategy · vCIO

A 12-month technology plan you can budget for.

A virtual CIO looks past this week's tickets: what to replace and when, what it will cost, which vendors are worth keeping, and what your insurer or auditor will ask next.

What's included

What IT Strategy & vCIO covers.

  • Technology roadmap. A 12-month plan of what changes, when and why, reviewed every quarter.
  • IT budget. Hardware refresh, licenses and projects forecast by quarter, so nothing is a surprise.
  • Vendor management. We review contracts, renewals and support for the software and services you already pay for.
  • Compliance readiness. Controls and documentation for HIPAA, cyber insurance and client security questionnaires.
  • AI and Copilot readiness. Permissions, data cleanup and policy before AI tools are switched on.
  • Quarterly business review. A plain-English report on security, support trends and what's next.

FAQ

What clients ask before they sign.

Do we need a vCIO if we're only 15 people?
Not always. If you have no hardware refresh plan, a renewal you don't understand, or an insurance questionnaire coming, a roadmap pays for itself.
Will you push us to buy things?
No. We'll tell you when something isn't worth replacing, and every recommendation comes with a reason and a cost.
Can you deal with our software vendors?
Yes. We handle renewals, support calls and contract reviews for the tools you already use.
What does a quarterly review cover?
Security score and gaps, ticket trends, hardware age, upcoming renewals and the next quarter's priorities.
