Backup & disaster recovery
Backups that are tested, so recovery isn't a hope
Microsoft keeps Microsoft 365 running, but it doesn't promise to give back what you delete or what ransomware encrypts. HeptaShield backs up your mailboxes, OneDrive, SharePoint and computers, and proves the backups work every quarter.
What we back up
Your data, recoverable on a bad day
Microsoft 365
Mailboxes, OneDrive, SharePoint and Teams, backed up outside Microsoft's own retention (Secure and Complete).
Workstations
Computers backed up so a dead or stolen laptop is restored, not rebuilt from scratch (Complete).
Tested every quarter
We restore real files on a schedule and record the result.
A written recovery plan
Who does what, in which order, if ransomware or a disaster hits.
Questions
Straight answers
- Doesn't Microsoft back up Microsoft 365?
- Microsoft keeps the service available and keeps deleted items for a limited time. It doesn't keep long-term, independent backups of your data, which is why a separate backup is recommended.
- How quickly can you restore?
- Single files and mailboxes usually within the same business day. A full computer depends on its size and where the staff member is.
- Which plan includes backup?
- Microsoft 365 backup starts on Secure. Workstation backup is added on Complete.
- What does it cost?
- Plans start at $79 per user per month with a $395 minimum monthly fee, and every price is published. The 12-month agreement can be cancelled in the first 90 days with 30 days' notice. The calculator on our pricing page shows your monthly price in about 30 seconds.
